I have been repairing stringed and fretted instruments for the past thirty two years. My education in luthiery started in 1981 at what was then the Redwing Vocational School,  with David Patterson in Redwing, Minnesota. After graduation, I worked with Devon Bogue at the Atlanta Guitar Works, and furthering my education and training with Hans Nebel in Durham, New Hamphire. After working with Draisen-Edwards Music for seventeen years as their stringed and fretted instrument department head, I now own and operate my own shop.
